Collaboration among public, private and academic partners is at the heart of the Research Triangle Region's economic success.
Nearly 100 organizations across the region who collaborate to implement the regional economc-development vision and strategy. They include economic development agencies, tourism offices, airports, community colleges, universities and business support organizations. Volunteer business representativ! es from across the 13-county region meet throughout the year to examine issues of economic competitiveness and help RTRP implement its domestic and global marketing strategies.
Businesses provide most of the financial support for the Research Triangle Region's economic development activities.
